The Police in the United Kingdom have truely become the enemy of the British citizen under corrupt & dishonest commanders & Chief Constables down through the rest of the rank & file!Police abuse = Protected by the IPCC, Police Authorities & HMIC

Does anyone know what ended up happening with this case?

No complaint has been made even though there are obvious assaults made by the police. For example, a policeman can be seen to thrust his shield into the face of a protestor ( 2.20 ). Another man is beaten to the floor only to face further hits when trying to get away ( 3.18 ). By “kettling” the crowd, it could not disperse, I theorise this was done to incite a riot. A man died that day because so many people were assaulted all over London, by probablility alone, somebody would have died.

That is a little harsh ?People should have the right to free speech… Without being pushed to the ground or have a riot shield shoved in their face.

The demand for a public enquiry was on a clip taken from a fellow Canadian of yours. His channel is CanadaNanaimo. (please refer to the info on the right). Another Canadian: FookHarper, has posted intersting news articles surrounding this case.In regards to the death of Ian Tomlinson, the people have been granted a public inquiry by the Secretary of state, how bias or fair it will be is yet to be seen. It will be difficult to investigate as police are no longer required to wear their number.

Like the murder of Jean Charles de Menezes, no doubt the court will force a decision. On 2 December Sir Michael ordered the jury, shortly before it retired to consider its verdict, that they may not return one of “unlawful killing,” leaving their options as “lawful killing,” or an open verdict. As for Canadian enquirey and Stormtube13’s reply if we don’t stand up for our own rights nobody else will. We are not cattle, we have every right that a “Person” should have.

Latest news:- Ian Tomlinson, 47, was struck and pushed over by a police officer during G20 protests on 1 April in the City. Now a fresh post-mortem examination has found he died of abdominal bleeding, not a heart attack, as first thought. Lawyers for the family said the new post-mortem test raised the likelihood of a manslaughter charge.
