I am we do a scholarship plan where we get an hypothetical island as well as we have to give a rodent 8 adaptations so it can tarry on a island. And i was only wondering what adaptations i should do so a rats find food. here is a divide explaining a island, may be it will assistance by revelation we a plants on a island:
The island is an archaic volcano. Vegetation on a island changes with a rise relocating up a volcano. Grasses grow during a base. Further up a slope, a grasses give approach to low shrubs. Half approach up, a island becomes utterly lush; pleasant plants as well as trees dominate. At this altitude, a island practice visit sleet showers. There have been dual class of birds which live on a island. One Bird is a raptor which preys on not as big birds as well as rats. The alternative Bird is tiny as well as fishes tiny fish from a waters we estimate a single kilometer off shore. Both nest in trees.

Most rats are primarily seed eaters, but they will take just about any food that’s around. Many islands have lost bird species to rat egg predation, so the ability to climb (some rats aren’t big climbers) would be a big help They will take what insects are around and will also feed on whatever washes up.
